Hybrid working has myriad benefits. Businesses can save enormously when it comes to renting office space. As Mark Higgins points out, if business owners are coming to the end of a lease, they now have the option of moving to a smaller premises: “A lot of corporate clients are looking at their office and thinking, we don’t need to have 100% capacity for our employee footprint. We can operate at 50%.” This is coupled with the fact that employees can arguably gain a better work-life balance, with a reduction in commuting time and a sense of greater autonomy.
