It’s clear from the research that growing revenue and enabling continuity are top priorities for ICT leaders over the next 12 months.

Leaders need to adapt to a changing landscape and this will happen through technology. The pandemic proved that the ability of a business to adapt quickly to change was often vital in keeping it afloat. As Erik O’Donovan, Head of Digital Economy Policy at Ibec, says, “technology enabled businesses to pivot.”

Overwhelmingly the focus of ICT leaders is now on growing revenue and profit, with 79% of our sample selecting it as one of their three priorities. This was followed by enabling business continuity and resilience (42%), cutting costs (37%) and improving customer experience (35%).
